Katy Perry to Launch False Eyelashes Line in February

Katy Perry may be going through a tough time with her divorce from Russell Brand, but things are looking up. The pop star is launching her very own line of false eyelashes next month in conjunction with Eylure.

"As a false lash lover herself, Katy had a very clear idea of what she wanted to achieve and was involved in every step of the design process," the company said in a press release.

Eylure has also confirmed the partnership with the 'Teenage Dream' singer via Twitter, and added in its statement, "We were keen to create a range of lashes that were a direct extension of her own personal style."

The line will feature four varieties of fake lashes, and be available in Ulta stores nationwide this February. Are you excited for Katy's new eyelashes collection? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner will announce tonight via special message who South Africa's first Playboy Playmate of the Year is.

While Hefner will not be present in the flesh, this will be the first time in years the founder gets involved in a foreign edition's Playmate of the Year selection.

The lucky lady selected as Playmate of the Year will win prizes that include a R50 000 pendant with black and white diamonds and a trip to the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles.

Playboy South Africa editor-in-chief Charl du Plessis says the magazine's circulation has grown 30% in the past two months, with new digital subscriptions the highest seller.

"We have turned the corner from a tough first year and we see the conversation changing away from the boring nudity-or-not towards one of how to get brands involved in this passionate and happy man-space," says Du Plessis in a statement.

"It is becoming pretty hard to ignore Playboy," he says.

The VIP event will be held in Johannesburg and will be followed by another event open to the public on Saturday.

Resa celebre dal film cult Gola Profonda (1972), la Lovelace, scomparsa nel 2002, decise poi di abbandonare il cinema e si schierò contro l’industria pornografica. Secondo i rumors, la Lohan era in lizza anche per un altra pellicola dedicata all’attrice porno, stavolta del regista Robert Epstein, ma la sua partecipazione è stata smentita. Mentre la conferma per Inferno arriverà al festival di Cannes (12-23 maggio).

Le riprese dell’ultimo capitolo di Twilight vanno avanti, ma l’attrice non perde tempo. E non rischia di restare in eterno la fidanzata del vampiro Edward Cullen. Nella pellicola diretta da Walter Salles (I Diari della motocicletta), sarà Marylou, la moglie di Dean Morarty, il cui ruolo è andato a Garrett Hedlund, protagonista di Tron Legacy. Per la parte di Sal Paradise, invece, è stato ingaggiato Sam Riley (Franklyn). Le riprese dovrebbero iniziare quest’estate.
Intanto, mezzo mondo aspetta l’uscita nelle sale di Eclipse il 30 giugno.
